having problems logging in.  Created my user name and password with no problem.

The first times I tried ( a couple of days ago), it would say that there was an error possibly caused by me blocking cookies and please try again later.  I just tried logging in again this morning and it wouldn't even go to the user name and password screen.  I am on a desktop and using firefox.  I haven't tried using Chrome or Safari yet nor have I tried logging in via phone.  Love the look of the site though, and I can patiently wait for the bugs to be fixed.

Thanks for the bug report, please tell me how you are trying to login. There is no "login page" per se, the login is just a pop up box on this site.

Navigation banner also has some weird spacing due to the size of the text of the 2nd list item being forced two lines, I would post a snip, but it does not seem to work, so here is a link assuming i did imgur correctly

To set your name to anything other than your real name, go to Profile at the top of the Forum. 

Then at the bottom click, edit profile. This will take you to another page, where you can set what you want your display name to be.  It says "Display Name Publicy as" and you can pick your nickname as that. 

This bug should be resolved.

Mark, it seems after a successful login the login better still remains until you press the red login button again, at which point it becomes a logout button, but also navigates to an empty page. You might need some sort of event handler to update the UI onLogin

I’m on an ipad pro, Chrome browser. Logged in from the main page. When I go to some articles (tonight’s pregame for instance) it seems to think I’m logged out and it wants me to comment as a guest. Works fine on other articles.

Also, tried to go to Wordpress do the profile pic thing and it didn’t change anything here.

I found the bug you were talking about, thanks. Its actually only on the homepage, if you navigate to any other page, it shows up as "logout"

Not a bug, but a design comment- the comment threads are getting VERY vertical- lots of scrolling. Knowing how this community likes to chat, we might need to reformat that a little bit to be closer to CN.
