This important update was provided by Greg Wissinger from The Kings Herald, an independent Kings website founded by Vox castoffs.

As we’ve previously discussed, Montrezl Harrell still has not joined the Los Angeles Clippers in the bubble in Orlando. In a BREAKING NEWS UPDATE, Yahoo’s Chris Haynes reports that it is unclear when Harrell will join the Clippers, or what family matter Harrell is currently attending to.

This update is very important because it clarifies that, just as before, there is no timeline for Harrell. It is also very important because it sheds no new light on the private situation holding Harrell away from the team. We have no expectation of right to know the details of Harrell’s family matter.

Harrell’s continued absence obviously has an impact on the Clippers if it extends into the playoffs. Beyond that, it could impact seeding and it impacts the Clippers depth during the initial games in the bubble. Beyond that, the reason for this updates from Haynes is unclear. We learned nothing new.

Carry on.

So likely no Trez and def no Lou for the Clips and possibly no AD (due to an eye poke) for the Lakers on Thursday. I mean, I’m obviously still gonna watch, but if all of those guys are out it really isn’t gonna tell us much about what the matchup would look like in the playoffs…but I guess it’ll give us a good look at Noah and one of Mann/McGruder/Coffey.

As usual, the Faker spin factory is in full gear – we will struggle due to lack of continuity but the Fakers missing their starting SG, 6th man and now their 2nd best player out for at least a game will be just fine…

At this point I just treat “analysis” coming from that side in the same way I treat opinions from people who believe in off-the-wall conspiracies (e.g. the magic healing power of crystals, COVID isn’t real, etc.) – that is, I just shake my head, chuckle, and disregard it completely.

P.S. The Lakers are *better* w/o their starting SG.

I mean, their starting SG was Avery Bradley, so it’s not *completely* far-fetches that they’d be better off without him. 😉
