This important update was provided by Greg Wissinger from The Kings Herald, an independent Kings website founded by Vox castoffs.

As we’ve previously discussed, Montrezl Harrell still has not joined the Los Angeles Clippers in the bubble in Orlando. In a BREAKING NEWS UPDATE, Yahoo’s Chris Haynes reports that it is unclear when Harrell will join the Clippers, or what family matter Harrell is currently attending to.

This update is very important because it clarifies that, just as before, there is no timeline for Harrell. It is also very important because it sheds no new light on the private situation holding Harrell away from the team. We have no expectation of right to know the details of Harrell’s family matter.

Harrell’s continued absence obviously has an impact on the Clippers if it extends into the playoffs. Beyond that, it could impact seeding and it impacts the Clippers depth during the initial games in the bubble. Beyond that, the reason for this updates from Haynes is unclear. We learned nothing new.

Carry on.
