Wow. It’s hard to really find much else to say. Rudy Gobert tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) tonight, and because of his exposure to so many other players in recent weeks, the NBA has closed up shop indefinitely.

What does this mean for the Clippers? Well, this is probably the most promising and talented Clippers team of all time, and now there’s a possibility they can’t compete for an NBA championship. If that’s not “so Clippers”, I don’t know what is. Presumably, the Clippers will continue to work out and practice in private to keep in game shape and remain ready for what comes next, but depending on the spread of the disease even that might be limited.

The NBA might resume play in two weeks, it might in two months, or it might not until next season. It’s really impossible to know right now.

For 213Hoops, well… we will still be around! It will be tough to write much content with no games, and with even stuff like the NBA Draft possibly being delayed or altered as well. However, we will still check in with some content, and it should at least give us some time to work out the kinks of the new site.

Lastly, I hope all of you stay safe – wash your hands, don’t venture out in public too much, and just be cautious!
