According to Caron Butler and David Aldridge, the Washington Wizards are interested in Clippers reserve guard Jerome Robinson.

Robinson has disappointed for the Clippers since being selected 13th overall in the 2018 draft, and it’s highly likely that a change in scenery (and the chance for some minutes on a bad team) could be good for his career. Particularly, he has been unable to hit shots when given opportunities this season despite his reputation and history as a good three-point shooter.

It’s unclear what the Wizards would give the Clippers in such a deal–and unlikely that, assuming their first-round draft pick goes to the New York Knicks in a Marcus Morris trade, they would be able to pry sharpshooter Davis Bertans from Washington. The Wizards do have a large enough trade exception to simply absorb Robinson–but are the Clippers ready to move on from Jerome for what could potentially amount to a second-round pick?

Mo Wagner or Troy Brown would be nice. I’m not high on Jerome, but I’d be disappointed if the Clips couldn’t get *something* of value for him – I was hoping if they traded him it’d be as part of a larger deal.

the open roster spot isn’t nothing, plus losing his 4 million dollar per year off the roster is helpful. Bye Jerome (please make this trade be true).

    IT for Rome?

I assume with the other deals, maybe the Clips could get back like Isaiah Thomas and like Admiral Schofield, and maybe a 2nd round pick?

I’m hoping for like Thomas Bryant, although his injuries this year are worrying. I don’t think they can put together enough salary for like Mahinmi.

Wagner or Troy Brown would be a good get, but they’re both so young, I don’t see the Wizards letting them go for JRob.

Rui and Jerome are both classy, smart, dedicated guys. Maybe these two will hit it off and get that scrap heap in Washington out of second gear sooner than people think.

Well we got cap relief. I believe this helps keep the team under the tax which is important to avoid the repeater tax in the future.

Sad to see Jerome/ Brock get traded and not get anything back other then a waived Isaiah Thomas. Good luck with the Wizards and hope you develop more into a Reggie Bullock then a CJ Wilcox!
