Trade Machine Toying thread

Clips-Suns-Thunder:

https://tradenba.com/trades/GJD9OCIMf

Suns get Trezz + CP3, Thunder go full Rebuild, Clips get Rubio and Noel.

Suns get the best player in the trade, and the reigning 6th man of the year, and eat McGruder's contract to make the $ work for the us.

Thunder shed 37.9M in payroll this year, and shed all of Cp3's 44M next year, and pick up some draft assets. If they would rather, they could have Lou Will or PBev.

Clippers get the playmaker PG they are looking Rubio, and pickup a backup C in Noel.

I'd do that in a heartbeat.  The sticking point for me is it's hard for me to pinpoint what exactly OKC wants (outside of salary relief, of course), on account of them having like a billion draft picks already lol.  They didn't go into sell mode last season (despite everyone assuming they'd hold a fire sale at the deadline) and came one shot away from getting past the Rockets, so I'm not sure if the two additional first rounders are really that appealing to them.

Looking at the trade, OKC gets pretty much nothing but picks. I think either Phoenix or Clips have to give up something more?

Myles Turner basic stats

Points: 12.1, Rebounds: 6.6 ,Assists: 1.2, PER: 14.8

Celtics have already been talking with Indiana for a Hayward/Turner swap, and I haven't heard of any rumors that the Clippers are even interested in Turner; but I think this is something to talk or think about. Myles Turner is tired of Indiana and Victor Oladipo. In my opinion Turner is an upgrade from Harrell. While Turner definitley isn't scoring as much as him, Turner is a decent size taller than him(6'11) and Turner is a better defender as well. Montrez is a brilliant number 5 bench player and he's done a lot for this organization but: I think it's time to move on. There's been a lot of talk about how Montrez has been messing up the chemistry for the team and on top of that he's going to go for a bigger contract similar to Turner. Turner has 3 years left on his contract. Please voice your opinion on this trade!

I mean yea, obviously I'd do that trade (hell I'd let Trez leave for nothing), but no way Indiana would do that - they'd go Hayward over Trez everyday of the week.  Plus, I'm not even sure Turner would want to come here, because neither he nor Zu can really play PF (Turner + Sabonis being ill-fitting is part of the reason he might get traded to begin w/), and I'm not sure either one would be cool with a bench role.

There's iterations of my trade where OKC gets either PBev, or Lou to eat up some Guard minutes, and then flip at the deadline, but do they want them? There's also a version where Phx sends them Cameron Johnson who would fit their timeline as a possible upside player, and would leave Phx with a starting 5 of like CP3-Booker-Oubre-Ayton, and then whoever they like as starting PF, which I assume they keep Saric, not sure about Baynes will he stay with them to be the backup, or does he walk and test FA.
