There’s really not much to analyze. The Clippers’ offense was mostly fine throughout. Russell Westbrook added a nice jolt of energy. The Clippers were absolutely helpless on defense. Rinse and repeat.
Ty Lue’s rotation adjustment was to go small, with no Theis or Plumlee in the rotation. PJ Tucker played small-ball center, as did Kawhi. This helped on offense, but made the rebounding and defense even worse. If there are pure rotation solutions to the Clippers’ issues, I’m not sure what they are.
