Notes
How Much Do The Rotation Players Play: A lot of times coaches treat the last preseason game as a test run for the regular season, which means playing something similar to their real rotations, at least for the first three quarters. It will be interesting to see if Ty Lue takes that approach and we see guys like Garland, DJ, and Rui play 25+ minutes or if it’s more of a first-half only affair.
Who Starts at Center: Isaiah Jackson started the Clippers’ first preseason game and Brook Lopez started their second preseason game. Jackson has looked much better than Lopez in preseason, but who knows how much the Clippers coaching staff is factoring that into their regular season rotation equation, especially for veteran players. Still, I would guess whoever starts in this game is the one who will be in the starting lineup for the opening game of the regular season – and to be honest, I have no idea who it will be.
