Being in the top 1% is no guarantee either. I’m just happy there are G League and other leagues globally now so these still-incredibly talented kids can earn a handsome living at something they’ve invested so much into.

A rebuilding team who could use solid defensive guard play, felt like a good fit, for a guy that I really believed in. I thought there were 15 teams in the league that could use a guy like Ty.

I remember being worried the Lakers would pick him up because they were scraping the bottom of the barrel for guys like Avery Bradley, Dion Waiters, Quinn Cook. Obviously they ended up not needing him in 2020, but behind Lebron and AD, and later Westbrook in 2021-2022, they were really scaping for some minimum contract guys, and I thought Ty was an overlooked guy that might be able to contribute.

Specifically, he’d sometimes press full court and actually get steals or force bad passes with his long ass arms and just having a nose for where to be. He was fun to watch out there.

Can’t shoot but seems to find the way to make things work.
If he gets playing time, Miller might end up in similar situation as Ty.
But I’m surprised Ty had some TO issue, can’t seem to notice it at a time.
