Quick rant. I’ve been a Clipper fan going back to the Michael Cage days (dude had great hair). The mix of high expectations, bad personnel moves and terrible coaching decisions has made this the worst season I’ve experienced.

That said. All will be forgiven for a victory over the lakers on Wednesday!!!

Lakers are playing much better than us right now, and have both their stars playing. No surprise to me they’re favored over us. Us dominating them lately doesn’t mean shit given how mediocre we’ve been lately and considering PG13 ain’t coming back anytime soon.

Does Utah have any reason to win? If not, and they lose both of the laker games as well as their thunder game, I’m getting a little nervous we get bounced to the play-in. After last year, that’s a pretty terrifying scenario, especially given how all over the place we’ve been and how much more roster volatility we could be facing.

All of this underscores how much of a disaster this season has been. If you told me we would have healthy and peak Kawhi for most of the season as well as overall ok roster health, I would not have guessed we’d be in the same predicament as we were last year falling into the play-in.

With Wiggins set to return this week, my dream scenario is still Warriors 5th so they can battle Phoenix/Denver, and us 6th, with Lakers hopefully 7th and winning their first play-in cause I’d want them in the 2nd round if we can get there and NO/Minny to win the 2nd play-in and get 8th to at least test Denver. It’s gonna be an interesting week where things will change daily after tomorrow night, but we got to sweep and beat the Lakers on Wednesday and hopefully EJ is back by then cause Norm shouldn’t start.
