It seems that in past cases the nba likes to move fairly quickly on these issues, unlike the slow wheels of justice in the criminal courts or the long drawn out ncaa disciplinary cases (e.g. Regge Bush). But a fast decision, imho, would go against the clips interests since there’s a LOT to unpack and sift thru here, collect and weigh evidence, consider innocent interpretations and just do a good, thoughtful and thorough job applying the nba rules to the facts.

I said earlier that this would take the entire season–now, I’ve changed my opinion and think there’ll be a decision by the opener.

Every headline says “Kawhi’s bizarre demands” and “Kawhi’s scheming” trying to smear him for what were undoubtedly the actions of Uncle Dennis. A lot of hate out there among rival franchises and their operatives in the media. Hopefully everything comes to light sooner than later and they can stop piling on.
