I do think the Mavs will be able to find a second or third guy in the next couple years. Beal is certainly a good candidate, guys like Zach LaVine or Caris LeVert (completing that Michigan trio) could be other options.

Increasingly people are embracing that Luka May be the greatest 20 year old talent in nba history. With all due respect to MJ and the rest they just weren’t this omnipresent at this age. I have to switch sports and look at Patrick Mahomes to get a comparison. Clips will prevail for all the reasons you guys pointed to but this is a win/win for both teams. We need more burn against a well coached and intelligent team like Dallas to develop chemistry and Dallas gets to cut their teeth against a team that most believe will be the NBA champs. Mavs are primed to make some offseason moves to put them in contention immediately next season. You add a Bradley Beal to this team and a couple solid enforcers and it’s lights out. I’m good with Clippers in 6 if it goes that far because it will only make us better in the long run.
