I listened. And I was satisfied. The frustration with Ibaka being declared starting center was particularly cathartic. Thank you 213hoops team. I think watching Trez score a 3 sent me over the edge. It was like, dear God, don’t make Kawhi look silly for saying “hell nah” on top of everything else. Also, Ibaka looks alarmingly small on the court somehow early on. People seem to be shooting over him with ease. It’s been a long time since we’ve seen expectations met.

TMZ has article on a supposed lawsuit on Jerry west stating some guy/ kawhis pal was supposed to receive 2mil dollars for helping to recruit kawhi??? Hope to god this is bullshit because we all know the last time tmz reported something on the clippers????

trez gave us some really fun years, but he capped out by the end of his tenure. and with how he left, im not necessarily rooting for him. i do hope he manages his personal life stuff well because he seems to battle with demons often.

i think the lakers are free flowing almost like this is summer league while the clippers are working out kinks like this is, well, preseason with a new coach. the plays are super fun to watch with unfold, but not flawless by any means and they shouldn’t be. but it’s exciting to see them even out there.

and yeah people are getting on about clipper effort etc etc, but i thought the clippers did briefly try and lock in some in the 2nd quarter in the way you would in a preseason game, to some good results. they’re trying out stuff and fwiw i don’t think it’ll be ironed out to start the season, either. but suffer now for results later.

Silver is a great commish, and I’ll forever be grateful that he helped facilitate DTS’ exit (let’s be real, David Stern enabled that fucker), but Silver also knows where his bread is buttered. I’m not saying he actively supports them or anything that conspiratorial, but he obviously knows LeBron is good for profitability of the league, as do the other owners, so they’re mostly willing to just let it slide.
