Got my wish.

Miller I don’t see getting much PT since there are at minimum Mann, Powell, Kawhi and DJJ ahead of him. Coffey should also be ahead of him at this point so even on Kawhi maintenance days he isn’t guaranteed many minutes. I’m still hoping they make some kind of consolidation trade with Powell/Tucker/Coffey that gets us a starting 4 (or at least a Batum level player) while freeing up some minutes for him.

Don’t know why I thought that but it’s in my head…

Overall was pretty cool. The “Wall” isn’t bad, though I’m too old for that. The Halo Board looks like it’s going to be stunning.

Check out the Jersey Wall; includes every high school in CA.

The Clippers rolled the dice on the Leonard/George pairing and it didn’t work out. They swang for the fences. I’m good with that.

So we, essentially, traded George and a 1 for Harden. I’m good with that also.

Depending on how things go, Leonard or Harden could be gone before the year ends. If the Clippers overperform, the Clippers keep them. If not, some team in contention will overpay for either player.

I never count out a guy who builds his own $2 Billion stadium on his own dime. Ballmer’s focus is on the Clippers. I don’t think Ballmer does “mediocrity” which is why George was “trash canned”.

It means that outside of high lottery pick, let’s say top 6 or top 9, everything else is a crapshoot.
IIRC the highest pick we made in those span are Keon at 20th.
I have hoped Miller & Brown pan out. Cam looks nice and Flowers is young and seems to play hard (in his highlight).
Out of those 4, getting 2 rotational guys long term is a win as developmental project.
Wings seems to be the niche that we hit in the draft, IDK why.
I hope we get another ones waiting to be unfolded. Let’s see how it goes.

All perspective — start of a new season. Nothing set in stone. Everyone starts at zero.

Excited about the new arena!

There’s only a handful of teams that he would actually suit up and play for though. Lakers would have been a possibility unless he feels like LeBron screwed him out of Olympics. Warriors possible too if he believes they can win. Another long shot might be San Antonio. This is the purgatory that I keep complaining about. They should either keep him and try to add another Allstar or near Allstar and compete, or trade him and move on with fresh assets. That they weren’t better prepared for all scenarios before signing Harden is so disappointing.
