This is kind of awesome–well done. Nothing about putting your best players on the floor. Russ has been phenomenal, but he can still take better care of the ball and finish one or two more times at the rim–he can’t really play any better than he has been though. Somehow defending without fouling should be in there too–a matter of focus, I guess, not to mention officiating.

My thought in trading both is to get back another team’s picks in the process (admittedly it probably wouldn’t be much) to offset the lost picks to OKC.

I think moving on from Ty Lue is a must. Ty Lue must be fired as soon as the team plane lands back in LA.

As for PG13 and KL, I can be talked into keeping both if we are able to get surround them with young athletic players and upgrade the 1 and 4 spot.

However, I don’t think we can get rid of both since OKC still has control over our draft picks for the next few seasons and so we must remain competitive. If we are to trade one away, I think PG13 makes the must sense. I still think we could get a couple of 1st rd picks for him. The NY Knicks would trade for PG13 in a heartbeat. Our stars still have value but not to the extent that they did before. Any team looking to make that next step would have no issue forfeiting a couple of 1st rd picks for two years of PG13. He’s still a very good player and his injury this year was due to the reckless play of Lue Dort. Don’t worry Lue Dort will eventually get his.
