I haven’t heard anything about any Clippers players testing positive and/or wanting to sit out, so I’m cautiously optimistic about our chances.

Also, on a semi-related note, I think Avery Bradley sitting out for the Lakers actually improves their team – if I were them, I’d much rather have those minutes distributed among Rondo, Caruso, and KCP.

I just finished the Podcast where Rob & Shap talked about this. Their expected schedule was even lighter than this. Oh well.

To analyze this: Clips had 18 games remaining. So that means 10 games were dropped from the schedule. Those included 12 against the 22-invited teams and 6 against non-invited teams. So of the 12 against invited teams, the schedule drops games against Pacers, Kings, Jazz and one of the Nets games. So overall the schedule looks OK, but I think it could have been easier. The had a high SOS when the season was put on hold, so they lost the advantage of looking forward to weak teams such as the Knicks, GSW and Charlotte.

Of the four invited teams LAC will miss, only the Jazz are really tough. The Pacers, Kings and Nets are not walk-overs, but relative to the 22 bubble teams, they are missing some winnable games. So the schedule is not a “favor” to the Clippers. But I’ll take it.
