I personally would love to see Harden in a Clippers uniform and think he would be an awesome fit on our team. Really hoping we can make that happen.

I don’t feel compelled to trade Terance Mann tho. The idea of pairing Harden with Mann and the rest of our squad is worth holding out to see if we can make that happen. If push comes to shove, though, I’d rather stick with Mann. We’re not guaranteed a championship no matter what and I’d rather continue to keep guys who have really committed to this team both on the court (Mann has never stopped playing hard and selfless basketball no matter how much he was shafted by Ty Lue) and off the court (guy continues to be a role model and signs team friendly deals). Even if we don’t win with the 213 era, I think Mann can be part of the next era or at the very least, the transition to it (which will be super painful if we end up trading Mann for Harden).

In this case Russ & Mann will be big and physical enough to defend most guard duo in the league.
And Kawhi shooting more 3 will open up the lane for them to attack the rim and both are good offensive rebounder for their position.

I’m concerned we are going to see a continued drop off from PG and maybe some drop off or lack of availability (or both) from Kawhi. Same logic applies, but to a lesser extent, for RoCo, Russ and Batum.

Our offense has never had flow despite it being in it’s 4th iteration. Russ helps, but he’s still a liability (and that’s coming from a lifelong Russ fan). Harden seems like a great fit and not just a consolidation trade. It’s got to mean Russ moves to the bench. In regards to Bones, Bones is still untapped potential and not yet a serious player, IMO. If we got Harden, I can picture them getting some minutes together, which should help bones. Almost everyone looks better playing next to Harden. Can’t say the same for Russ.
