Morris sucks as a PF.His minuses far outweigh his positives.

Ty Lue needs to play the young guys. Coffey should have been playing this year. Why did the Clips develop him if they won’t use him? Ty Lue is like a Doc clone. Play the old guys no matter what. Bones, Boston and Coffey need to play. How would Preston do playing with the A-list guys? We don’t know because no one has given him an opportunity. He can’t be worse than Wall or Reggie.

We still end up benching someone better for Russ to get minutes. This is a guy who wasn’t good enough to start on the 13th place team in the West.

I agree that Bev would be a great add at this stage, but I am not sure he gets a lot of minutes here and I think other contenders will have consistent roles for him.

His around the rim touch as really improved and he’s become a bit more sure handed. Sure, he gets taken to the woodshed by more talented players, but the guy comes in handy a lot, is pretty durable and has finished games more recently. I’d like to think he could improve by being more focused and disciplined but, on balance, we can win with him on board. But, if Plum can show real skill and playability, I’m definitely open to a change-up.

The clips often (not every time) employ their own brand of 3 pt line defense that’s referred to as “hope they miss once in a while.” Pretty lazy but expected of an older team that wants to conserve/preserve for “when it counts.”

The Bucks had numerous wide-open looks from 3. Everyone talks about how good Lopez was, but it was because nobody was ever near him.

Now, I get that Giannis draws a lot of attention and that creates extra space for shooters. But the same thing has happened 3 games in a row: vs Nets and Mavs. It cost us the Mavs game and very nearly the Nets game as well.

Also, we got substandard performance from PG these past two games and Kawhi in the Mavs game. i understand that the stars can’t be awesome every game, but when they’re not … we’re not winning. Bottom line, I think we’re a slightly above average team, and nothing more.

Sorry to rant, but I’m frustrated. I went to both of the last two games and saw poor performances. Some of the guys were trying very hard: Mann, Roco, and Norm each gave it their all. But it’s not enough.

A sad fact but the same can be said for many star dependent teams. Sometimes I get a hankerin for those no star days. Almost envy the Nets right now with a bunch of good non stars — and picks — playing the underdog role and the joy of knocking off so called better teams.
So the team now has a couple days to prepare for the Steph-less Warriors — another “must” win after a couple of disheartening Ls. Need to get that one and see what we’ve got in the new guys. Would be nice if Bones and EJ can give us some accurate, no hesitation shooting. That’d soothe some wounds around here.
As to RW, hasn’t anyone watched him this year? He’s just bad.

Seriously though, MM being a tall version of Lou/Jamal is one of the reasons I wanted to prioritize an upgrade at PF rather than PG. But alas, that didn’t happen. Maybe we can push all our chips in this Summer and land KAT, I think he’s supposed to be good buddies w/ PG13 too…
