Losing 4 in a row at the beginning of the season seemed like things came to an end. But it’s not.
Now we lose 2 games and stars are not healthy.
Does it look good? Not at all.
Will we surrender the season just because of this? No freaking way.
Stay with it man.
We lose Kawhi but we somehow reach the west final that year.
…10 games from now, we may look back and think that we know nothing about what will happen. And that’s true.
We never know what lies ahead. All we can do is stick with with it and witness it.
Enjoy the rides guys.

If we don’t get to at least the NBA Finals, we have to consider rebuilding.
Quietly, the Clippers FO has been building a farm system with stellar 2nd round picks (Terance, Amir and hopefully, Jason, Brandon and Moussa).
We still have the richest owner in the NBA, who still is a basketball fan first (Thank goodness).
Life is still good for being a Clippers fan!
I’m still hoping for that “beautiful basketball” to be played by our team in the Playoffs.

There’s some buzz about a Myles Turner trade. Something like this would be a strong harbinger of hope the the FO is confident that Kawhi and PG will round back into form for chip run at some point. Otherwise you pick up the phone if another team calls. Not being negative here just objective.

They won a lot of games by grit and good strategy. That game was winnable, but it takes a few games to adjust when you’ve abruptly lost your 2 star players and the league’s best 3 pt shooter in the span of a week.

Let’s see where we are in late Feb.
We have all the pieces for a Championship run. We’ve all seen it.

I like their shot-making a lot but their TOs sometimes makes the game a frustrating watch. My x-mas wish is to watch a much improved Clips team take care of the ball much, much better. If Ty Lue can’t make that happen, fans will start pointing fingers. Coach has to be accountable. Play the guys who take care of the ball–is that too much to ask?

Team needs a reliable coach to address a this, the status quo is not working, given the same player rotations. Jackson is supposed to be a 1 and not lead the team in turnovers. Momentum is a Killer.
Covington is very decent defensive player, but the team prefers Jackson’s offense to play with Mann and Powell.
Udoka into the coaching staff ?
Clips ways behind to Nuggets in Assists, Motion Offense before garbage time while Clips relied more on players’ individual talents to deliver. The non Jovic Nuggets even outplayed the Clips.
Loved the consistent slashing plays of Mann and Powell – no fear of injuries, why is why they are healthy.
Covington so far spent more time on the bench while PG was used extensively during earlier games – now injured, there you go.

Your analysis misses two very important points, namely the absence of team lynchpins KL and PG. The only way the remaining clip players stood any chance at all vs. the intact Nuggets is if both Jokic and Murray missed the game. Take the two best and highest salaried players off any contender and the top G league team would be in the game.
Now I’m not ready to say our two stars are “unreliable” (even with their history) since we’ve got examples of two oft injured guys in this town (LBJ and AD) who right now are helping their team. Our guys can come back and do the same and I think they will. But we will not win any games vs. any intact contenders until they (or one of them at least) return. It’s the NBA fact of live.
As to Wall (and I’ve said this before I think), he came here with the understanding that he wouldn’t have to be “the guy.” Be careful what you wish for John.

That’s “the window” as of this moment. The FO and Ballmer will continue to build this team. Lue will continue to tinker away.
