I’ve been busy, don’t have time to read all the comments so if I’m repeating myself pardon. 5 point guards doesn’t make sense. That tells me there is a trade on the horizon. That’s what logic suggests anyways. Obviously I’m terrified because for the last two seasons, and now these 2 games, our front office and Coach Pue have displayed astoundingly poor judgment when it comes to the margins. If I wasn’t so busy I’d list them but off the top of my head…Jerome Robinson, Rodney Hood, Patrick Patterson, holding onto Morris until he was unplayable (yet still playing him), refusing to experiment with clear upgrades at that position. Someone pointed out, think it was Chogokin, but we all feel it, you don’t give away 3 power forwards without an immediate replacement in place. Otherwise you have yesterday. Harden/Westbrook together= Kawhi as PF= Only true power forward on the roster being a rookie= PJ Tucker= 3 guard lineups and one of them isn’t named Paul George playing alongside Plumlee = Plumlee getting injured when our roster has only 2 playable bigs (sorry Diabate)= There’s a lot to fix here, and we are relying on some historically weak minded fools to do it. About as bad as a start to the Harden era as we could have suffered through. PTSD hard!

Pop played Primo in 50-plus games (most as a starter) as a rookie. He’s young and can play. Let go of what happened previously. No one has a clue as to the details. There’s a bias against him.

I had a feeling that signing him to a real NBA contract was inevitable.

Moon is insurance and I think he has coaching ability in him. He is like a player-coach on the G-League team.

My god the Clippers love Xavier Moon. They just won’t let him go.

Signing Primo makes sense. The Clippers need to revive his value as a trade piece. They also need SOME hope for the future.

I expected this as soon as he was signed. And in all actuality, I thought if the trade was done before the season started that Preston would’ve been included in it. While the Clippers are all in on championship or bust, they have made an effort to and young pieces/maintain the ones they have. Primo adds to this list Hopefully he gains valuable experience from the older wings on the roster. Also, can be used as young filler in a trade since we don’t have draft picks

I’m all for trading Norm but Boucher is like a 3rd string center and Porter is never healthy (though if he was guaranteed health he’d be an awesome fit)

I don’t know chuck. I think we have a real problem at the 4 that can’t be solved with Norm and filler. I don’t think Norm’s contract has any value and even if it did, I doubt it would be enough to get us a rotation quality pf. The fact that Brown and Tucker are both in our current depth chart is troubling to me.

It’s made even worse by the fact that in our starting line up, we have Kawhi at the 4 (not a natural or healthy position for Kawhi to play) and Zu at the 5 (Zu is not a good fit for a Harden/Russ back court).
