Kawhi Leonard was drafted 15th and he has 2 Finals MVPs. I don’t think the fact that Derrick Williams was picked well ahead of him at 2nd a decade ago means that we should cut Kawhi and sign Derrick to lead this team.

Anatomy of a disaster:

You have an owner who knows nothing about basketball that overpays for the franchise. You have a coach in place that’s all personality but not much substance. Between the two you hustle this scrappy team together Via pedestrian transactions and land an over-hyped “super star” to lead the aberration to a championship.

We already knew that PG was not a franchise player but we pushed all our chips in on a guy who was a late lottery pick In Kawhi. Let’s get something straight right now. Number 1 picks Like Lebron and AD win championships not really colorful guys at 12 or 13. At least Steph was like #7.

The rest of our team were a bunch of second round or undrafted bums.

The unvarnished reality is that other than Kawhi and PG everyone else on this team is easily replaceable with VM contracts. My personal opinion is that we should trade PG for an attacking point guard and flush everyone else down the shitter. Doc has to go too. Kawhi truly is a top 5 player but the rest of it is a fucking circus.

We ain’t winning shit next year either but we might as well have a real team than a paper tiger and get some respect for once.
