Getting rid of a player of Lou’s caliber in order to develop him should be a boost of confidence.
I have often thought about Morris coming off the bench. Not as a power forward but rather a small forward, like he was in New York when he was gobbling up all those points. Especially for when Kawhi sits out games. Notice how well he did on Luca, but once Paul Milsap’s bigger body showed up he disappeared.
I’m not sure if we could get away with it, but Danilo for the full MLE would allow us to see what that would look like.
Let’s absolutely see more Green at the 5. He took 2 from one of the greatest teams of all time at that position. Why wouldn’t it work on weaker teams?
That being said…RUBIO! RUBIO! We’d go from one of either George or Leonard pounding the ball in the ground for a miss or a make to gorgeous open looks instantly

Let’s just say we keep the same roster.
Starter: Bev-Sham-PG-Kawhi-Zu
Kawhi is big enough to play the 4 spot, Bev can cover for Sham on defense.
Bench: Lou-Mann/Coffey/McGruder-Mook-Green-Harrell (You can even move Green to the 5 and slot 2Pat at the 4)
Let more defensive guard help Lou on defense, Mook can be the main guy in the second unit.
I also wish we give Sham & Zu heavy minutes. Mann & Coffey should get a lot of playing time too. Even Fi should get minutes.
We have no picks, we can buy them, trust in Ballmer.
But we must develop our U-23 players, we really should.

OkC has a billion late first rounders they could send one back, couple seconds, something!! I’m almost ready to just agree with you showman , we gotta be able to keep one of sham or Zu though right?

Bev Lou Rodney zu is like 32 mil that’s fair enough
But yeah OkC should give us. A first back for throwing Zu in there that fits in nice with shai and rebuilding , and also allows OkC to trade Steven Adams for more assets, all the while being a complete lottery team which is what they want .
