I’m kind of indifferent on Utah/OKC at 6, to be honest. If we were 3rd, I would want to face Utah, for sure, but if we aren’t, then don’t we want Denver to have the tougher opponent? I would way rather face the winner of OKC/DEN after 7 grueling games than get Denver after a 4/5 game destruction of Utah. Remember how beat up Lob City was going in to those 2nd round series? Against Houston, we lost a series where we were the better team because of injuries and fatigue from the tough SAS opening right.

And, either way, keeping Houston safe at 4 is far more important than which team ends up against Denver in our side of the bracket. Plus, it looks like Utah is losing on purpose to avoid the Rockets (makes sense after they were eliminated by Houston the last 2 years), so it might not end up being a race at all.

Oh I’m gonna read it. Definitly see where your going with Grizz over OkC but I want Utah at 6 OkC and rockets 4-5 but that’s prolly asking too much risking not having a strong floor to keep Houston from dropping to 6.
Nets ur prolly thinking since they beat bucks that there better off challenging bucks in round 1. Or I’m wrong about both these while I’m playing checkers and your playing chess big picture game!

Yeah, the more OKC and/or Utah gives some breathing room at Houston’s back and insulates them from falling to 6, the less we need Houston and Denver to walk a tight rope.

Good point. It’s a tough call. If it wasn’t a B2B it would be an easier call… I’m worried about playing Kawhi Saturday and still losing to a red hot Portland and now we’re in a must win the next day vs. Nets without Kawhi.

Mostly agree, except I’d go Nets over Kings because we want Orlando in 8th seed in the east. Plus need to thin the herd competing against Portland for that final spot. And while it’s close I might opt for Grizz over Thunder just to further entrench Houston in that 4-5 zone and move them further from 6th seed.

Spurs over Jazz probably the most important one of the bunch as I’d love to see Utah tank hard to 6th.
