Saying they think if Bev is on min restrictions or out they think Murray will be guarded by the claw! I almost think it would be good if nobody else can slow Murray down but if we play him physical with Bev/Morris it could give kawhi some defensive rest in order to fully explode on LeBron in a possible wCF matchup?

No altitude/conditioning issues in the bubble as there would be in Denver .
Is it a forgone conclusion that we pat (if healthy) will guard Murray? Don’t know if it’s possible matchup wise but I feel like doc will put Morris on Murray ??

Agree, Maclean! Think people are underrating OKC’s lack of star-power in comparison to Westbrook-Harden vs Lakers, but I might prefer OKC’s overall bball iq as a collective unit, as well as their cohesion which they proved over this season with so many wins in close game settings. Let the best team win, and just go challenge LaL!

What. A. Game [7.]. Ultimately i was pulling for Utah, due to the fact that they had less forward-momentum than a resurgent Nuggets team coming back from down 3-1, and the recovery of Harris to their roster. [side note: whats the status of Will Barton for Nuggets in rd 2]?
The other issues will be how we stop Jokic who will take Ivica out of his comfort zone, and who I fear will just dominate any matchup vs Harrell. Will definitely be helpful to get a healthy Pat Bev back to stick on a hot Jamal Murray. Porter is a wildcard, with immense offensive potential, yet defensive/inexperience liability – that hopefully the Clippers can take advantage of the way the Jazz did by aggressively attacking his matchup and forcing Den to limit his exposure toward the middle to the end of the series.

Just hoping we maintain our health and build on our confidence from the past couple back to back wins, and that we get a more balanced result from PG during this round.

I was a little concerned with Quinn’s ability to outcoach Rivers, as he did in 2017. Frankly haven’t examined Mike Malone enough to be sure the quality of coach he represents as an opponent. Guess I’ll find out.

Expecting a dog fight, but the Clips have all the talent and potential needed to win the series [and do it handily].

Glad we have a rest advantage as Nuggets def looked a little tired, and the bubble doesnt offer the adrenaline boost from live crowds to supersede fatigue. On the flip, it won’t offer us any home court advantages either.

Lets go get em, Clips!

Here’s hoping Denver is gassed and we can jump on them in game 1 and carry that advantage through the series. For whatever reason game 7s tend to be low scoring affairs and for this reason I like the Thunder tomorrow night. If Houston isn’t good enough to beat the Thunder then it’s not like they’re some bigger threat to the Lakers anyway. Let the best team win and move on.

Great game. I’m really happy we get to play Denver. Gobert looks awesome and mitchell is really incredible too. Both teams are similar quality but I feel much better about matching up with Denver. Can’t wait for game 1!

Exactly osamu! I’m a believer in having some luck or bad luck for other teams rotational players if it happens that way. Warriors had plenty of good luck with cp3 injuries and others. Actually from what I remember the warriors always seemed to have a cake walk being seed 1 in there bracket. Whether it was just 8th seeds that just flat out sucked, 4-5 matchups in round 2 and occasional injuries to other players. Wasn’t Kyrie injures in one of the years they played Cavs in the finals?
A little bit of luck and a little bit a bad ju-ju for our opponents will only help.
We’ve had tons of injury problems along with the bs DTS saga that F’d is over in the past. Law of odds says we due for a little luck.

Rooting for an injury is never acceptable. Not crying over one, or feeling like you’re not deserving of one is different.

Kawhi is not crying over the Warriors injury last year, and no one is going to put an asterisk on their championship.

Certainly the Clips of all teams know injuries are a part of the game, and whoever wins the Championship needs to have some injury (mostly lack thereof) luck.
