Nah that’s why I had to involve the Sixers – Lou might not retire if he gets to play for Doc again on another contender. Plus he got his start in Philly w/ AI.

Rockets would be getting Bev, Danny Green (big expiring deal), and a few picks, which isn’t a bad haul for a dude who sure looks like he’s leaving.

For Al-Farouq it’s both (1 – he has been injured, I don’t think he’s been terrible) and (2 – the Magic are a tire fire due to their own injury woes). But he’s been getting a good amount playing time recently (I assume to boost his trade value), and I do think he could help balance out the roster a bit.

As for Oladipo, he could be a rental, but correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the Clips would have his bird rights if they acquired him, no? Plus, who cares about a rental if it gets us a championship? And to top it off, we’d be getting him w/o having to give up any of our young assets (Zu, Kennard, Mann), so I don’t really see the downside, unless you think losing Lou (despite doing right by him by sending him to Doc and a contender) would wreck the locker room.

Yeah I haven’t seen heard shit about aminu in awhile.
1. He’s fell off a cliff/been injured
Or 2. It’s because I haven’t followed anything with the Orlando magic this year.
Problem I think with oladipo if we trade Bev and Lou for him and then he walks in FA since we’re over the cap I don’t think it opens much up to replace him.
Basically just a playoff rental?
I could be wrong but seems sketchy , but also we need to be all in. In winning this year so who knows.
