If this all actually pans out – this is truly incredible.

Wasn’t Atkinson credited with being one of the best player development coaches in the league with Brooklyn? Those guys were never an easy out vs. us, despite a pretty large talent discrepancy.

To this day Kyrie + Durant jettisoning him leaves a bad taste, and something I think those two ridiculous basketball players turned philosophers turned thought-leaders will come to regret.

I really hope this is true. Dan Craig was a prime target for me as a head coach, and thought passing on him could bite the Clips in the butt. Would be great if he could be on Lue’s staff, although still wouldn’t be surprised if he gets poached in a year or two. Feels like he’s on a lot of radars as an up and coming assistant.

Atkinson too gets so much praise as a coach in this league. Feels like really an assembly of the best of the best.

Ok. I’ve changed my mind. They may not have hired Atkinson as HC, but Ballmer got it done by adding him to Lue’s coaching staff. They also hired Dan Craig as an assistant, which is great too.

I’m willing to eat my crow and humble pie now, and I apologize for leaving this team prematurely before not giving them a chance.

Really nice to have some Miami Heat influence. In Ballmer We Trust. This past playoffs was a freaking bummer no doubt. I suppose it comes with the high expectations. But, how nice is it to have an owner as passionate as Ballmer about winning and putting together the best money can buy. I’m getting amped up for next season. Going to be very interesting how this roster shapes up.
