Very cool of Reggie to do this right after a tough game, and I’m glad he’s been there this year to help keep the locker room positive vibes going. Reggie has by far had the biggest turnaround for me in terms of how I’ve felt about him – when he first signed I abhorred the way he played for us. Like I legit didn’t even want the team to re-sign him, even for a minimum contract. Since then, all he’s done is help take the Clips to their first conference finals, help drag the current team to respectability, all while wearing his emotions on his sleeve and being a genuinely likeable dude. When everything is said and done he’s gonna be one of my favorite Clippers of all time, up there w/ Lou Will, Bev, Piatkowski, QRich, DMiles, Cassell, and CP3 (though it’s hard for me to think of him fondly at the moment, while he’s on the Suns).

I don’t think anything positive is secure at all the way we’ve been playing UNLESS reinforcements show up to shoulder this load and/or we face some teams that ARE secure and are resting.

I see the Spurs winning today vs. Houston, Lakers losing tomorrow at Dallas. Dropping the Fakers to 11.

Making up four games with only seven left for both teams is really hard to do. If the Clips lose out and finish the season on a humiliating 0-12 skid, the Pels must go 4-3 to tie. Clips win just one, Pels must go 5-2. Clips win two, Pels 6-1. Anything can happen of course, but I’d guess the Clips finish eighth.

I dunno if the Clips are secure in the 8 spot, given how poorly they’ve played recently and how rough the upcoming schedule is, but a play-in spot looks secure at least.

Don’t look now, Celtics may represent the east in the finals. Pop and the Spurs are nipping at the heels of the stumblebum Fakers (ow! ow!). Meanwhile, Clippers look secure in the 8 spot.

There should be a statue of Reggie near the ticket windows at fabulous Intuit Dome. One of my favorite NBA players ever.

That was pretty cool that Reggie did this. I’m happy to see everyone now on board with Reggie these days. I remember when Russ and Bev got tangled up and Russ hurt his knee (not a cheap shot) and Reggie stepped in and pretty much carried the Thunder during those playoffs. There was even talk of them keeping Reggie and moving on from Russ. Then Reggie went on an odyssey for awhile and has really found himself again. I hope he’s here if we can win a chip. Great story.
