Smoke is strong with rondo or Dunn or both, and I assume pat Bev is wanted to remain the starter.
As far as kennard goes, I watched a ton of highlights and agree that health will be huge. His style of jab stepping and pump fakes look like they work well for his game.
Now don’t take this too seriously but that jab step reminds me a little of pg13 harden luca etc. very effective. I also saw many Detroit fans pissed about the trade and they were pretty high on kennard even though the pistons missed out on Donovan Mitchell. Some said that had kennard been drafted by Utah instead his stats would be a lot more eye popping because of how the system, Snyder and how they would maximize him unlike how he was used in Detroit .
Also I read a bunch of nets fans comments about shamet and most all of em were pissed they didn’t draft at 19 or just get kennard for themselves.
Again I feel really good about the move as long as kennards health isn’t a problem.

I’m glad to see a lot of people high on Kennard. Seems like his health will be the main thing. I guess I’ve never been that impressed with Kennard, but he’s put up great shooting numbers. I was still high on Shamet in a different system getting back to shooting like he did in his rookie year, but definitely had a disappointing sophmore season.

To me, not really a game changer, and almost a lateral move. McGruder being moved, I guess is a bonus as it opens up a roster spot, but McGruder’s salary could’ve been useful for salary matching purposes. Feels less likely they’ll be able to make a move for like George Hill.
