I said it before and I’ll say it again, Zu and Plumlee outplay Ayton and Biz this series and they showed it last night.

AD stayed upright (it was questionable at one point) and got 7 blocks to go with 22/12, effectively keeping Ja out of the paint. Hachimura and Reaves really stepped up with big shots. It’s difficult to see how Memphis wins 4 of 6 if AD is effectively neutralizing Ja Morant’s dribble penetration. Lebron didn’t even really have a good game and still ended up with 21-11-5.

I don’t think the Grizz used Kennard well enough. He was a +11 on the court and was making plays on both sides of the ball. I think the Grizzlies need to go small and speed the game up. They’ll get clobbered in a slower paced, half court game. I’d try a Bane, Ja, Luke, Brooks, Jackson lineup, and I’d even go with Tyus Jones over Brooks to get better passing and shot selection. Memphis is in trouble.
