The combo of no Lou, Landry clearly not being at full speed, and Bev having his minutes restriction was just brutal for our backcourt. Of course Reggie had a bad night too. If one of those 3 guys is at full strength, or Reggie steps up, we win.

Not too disappointed about the loss.
Clips played better than I thought.
No Lou and Trez plus Bev on minutes restriction. Sham getting the rust off as well as Zu.

Marcus Morris shot badly the past couple games against Lakes but did pretty well defensively against Bron except getting that board on that last play. He needs more determination but Bron wanted it more.

Don’t have confidence in the next game against Pels because they’ll be desperate to get in playoffs.

well perhaps not actually any blatant LBJ push-off on the put-back bucket, but i stick to the prior observation re: not deploying Noah (career reputation earned at defensive-instead of Marcus Morris (nice weapon for an offense but never considered anywhere near ‘plus’ at the other end) lost the game for us.
Well, not having Lou or Trezz is really the culprit, but Still…

LeBron keeps throwing the ball away, lol at him. Kawhi and PG13 look amazing. This game may not mean much in the big scheme but think the Clippers’ depth is making up for missing their dynamic bench duo. Patterson playing very well.

That was a great first game – I mean not in terms of quality (that was sloppy as hell), but it was close and intense, w/ real playoff consequences. New Orleans looks like they’re 1 player away (a rim protecting big – Utah diced them up in the paint today) from playoff contention, but they’re already a lot of fun to watch.

Man if they could just turn a couple of there picks and prospects into a beast starting caliber center they’re gonna be trouble as ingrim zion and others mature!
Jrue, lonzo, hart, Redick, Alexander great guards, ingrim and zion great forwards, all they need is a bad ass center and some vets pieces that know how to win and play there role and they’re gonna be a problem if healthy. I see young golden state type success.
