I guess their argument is they can’t leave of the reigning MVP.

The fact that they’re also shoving the Knicks and Lakers down our throat, just makes the whole thing about Christmas being about the premier teams in the league a sham. It’s basically put on the teams that will get the best ratings, so I understand if the Clips are left off.

Funny thing is, I really don’t like having a Clipper game on Christmas. Usually way too busy or at a relatives house to watch the game live. Tape it and watch it at night, I guess? but that’s always a risk. And if they lose, it ruins my Christmas. I also like that for the guys on the team, they get to spend Christmas with their families.

I’m only upset that its become some “honor” to play on Christmas, but the reality of playing on Christmas, kind of sucks.

This team thrives better when the spotlight is not on them. Have the league be the slow ones to figure it out. This team will just perform during the playoffs, when it counts.

Plus I just saw that the NFL wants a piece of the Christmas viewership pie. They have a bunch of games on Christmas Eve, 3 on Xmas day and 1 on the day after. We all know the numbers between the NFL and NBA when they compete, and it’s not even close. Score another one for the NFL. Clippers will just be fine watching football and whatever basketball game is on at the same time.
