I like it. But not being a Harden fan I’d prefer to leave Philly out of it, and get Brogdon and Jerami Grant back. I think Portland may want out of the Grant contract … but don’t think they want Powell.

I think a 3rd team involved would make it work.

Something like Blazers-76ers-Clippers

Blazers Receive: Morris (expiring), Kobe Brown, Korkmaz (expiring), 76ers 2nd round picks
76ers Receive: Brogdon, Norman Powell, Clippers 1st, Clippers Swap
Clippers Receive: Harden

Blazers get a young cost controlled prospect, 2nd round picks
76ers get 2 ace shooters and bolster their depth and some picks for further deals
Clips get Harden

76ers:
SG – Brogdon
PG – Maxey
C – Joel
PF – Tucker
SF – Tobias
Bench – Powell, Oubre, Reed, Trez, Melton

Clips
SG – George
PG – Harden, Westbrook, Bones
C – Zubac, Plumlee
PF – Rico, Batum, Martin
SF – Kawhi, Mann
Deep Bench – Boston, Coffey, Moussa etc

Clips have some youth at least, Bones, Zubac, Mann, Martin are all still young and hungry.

…I’m not a Harden fan, but this comment feels weirdly personal. I haven’t heard anything about him off the court that would make me think he’s “despicable.” Not like we’re talking about KPJ or Miles Bridges here.

Just stay healthy, learn how to play as a team, and maybe, we have a shot in the Playoffs. Isn’t that what we want?
