I don’t think you’re going to get much of a return for Norm, even though he’s playing well, because of his age/contract. For someone who is seen as a 6th man scorer who is turning 30 soon to get 20M/year for 3 more years after this one… there is a very small market of teams for whom that acquisition makes sense.

OG’s deal still has some runway but there has been some speculation that he might want to leave and they’re trying to get ahead of it being an issue when his contract is running out.

I think it all depends on PG’s value. What team with an all star point guard will be willing to trade for him? Presumably, they want their point guard more than PG.

I also don’t think the Pacers are blowing it up. Example: Myles Turner’s brand new extension. TJ’s contract is terrific and what’s the rush? They have a 2.5 years to decide what to do with him.
