Plus, with the way things have been going here, are we even sure that Japan would even let US citizens into the country next Summer? We’ve been an international pariah now for the last several months, and there’s no guarantee we’ll have our shit together by then anyways.

Also, as much as I’d love basketball year round, the quality is would definitely suffer, and a ton of players would definitely get hurt. The easiest example of this is a guy like Yao Ming, who played NBA ball for most of the year, went to the playoffs a bunch of years (usually while already kind of knicked up/hurt), and then played for China’s national team after the season every year of his (shortened) career. There’s a big difference between playing in a Drew league and/or a scrimmage and a real professional game.

I don’t know if it matters what the president makes but just the fact that the president is foremost smart and most importantly looking out for complete fairness across the board
To each member rank and file.
I don’t know know if cp3 is or isn’t the best for the position but right now it definitly looks as if there fighting for the older superstars who just went deep in the playoffs in LeBron etc. not always what it seems but maybe.

But point taken.

The decisions should be made my members who are more REPRESENTATIVE of the general membership.

They should push the olympics back
We don’t know what’s gonna happen. Players don’t need to even be thinking about playing for free right now many many months away.
Focus on getting your paycheck and righting the normal path to your nba season for years to come.

LeBron imo has always been a spoiled- ass kissed – michael Jackson kid that never grew up since he came to the nba !
Everybody bent to the knee for his ass.

That’s why they need someone smarter to tell them facts and not what they wanna here.
Wasn’t the last guy who held Roberts position let go because he cost the players a bunch a money in the last contract talks/cba? Who ever was before Roberts , I forget his name?

This includes the nba! 2 months is more then enough time off for one season and hopefully the following season the players get there normal amount of time off .
Alotta players play year around in summer leagues, Drew leagues, pick up games etc.
Coming from Being in a union and negotiating contracts with trillion-air companies CP3 needs to put the issue up to vote to members/players . You cannot try to negotiate something just for the lakers or clippers or teams that just finished the playoffs! It’s got to be for everyone! And a majority didn’t Play in the bubbles and are ready to get back to start making money again.
Sure LeBron kawhi and superstars have made all the money in the world and can easily sit back with no financial ramifications, but the little guys Mann FI
Sham etc I bet would vote to get some money in there pockets for future family rainy day funds. Just my opinion.

Seems Covid may still be an issue and can you even do a bubble with that many attendees from all over the globe?
