Agree. I’m slightly concerned that we aren’t going to have the horses to get in the top 6 for playoffs . A Pg ankle tweak and we are going to be playing catch up.

You can’t get PatPat to 7M. The Clippers can pay him up to 10.5, but there is a rule called “base year compensation” that limits outgoing trade value for S&T guys making over 120% of their previous salary.

So if you pay PatPat the $10.5M, he gets 10.5M and the Grizz have to pay him 10.5M and count him as 10.5M incoming, but he only contributes 5.25M towards the trade math from LAC’s perspective.

We have a history but at the same time we need to get younger and durable. A lot of rest days for older players more minutes for the youngins.

Teague does, but we have a history at reviving careers.
Batum and Reggie both seemed somewhat washed before they signed as well. I think if it’s replacing the 4-5 guard in yogi
Taking a swing is easier to do.
Yogi and others will be available all season long.

I’ve always loved Adams, and always wished he’d find his way to the Clippers.

For some reason, my initial thought was that Adams would be an upgrade over Zu…. but looking at their numbers, I think it’s pretty clear that Zu is probably the better player right now. And Zu is still only 23, and I think only getting better.

Adams still might be one of my favorite non-Clipper players in the league, just because his interviews and stuff are funny and he’s the consensus strongest player in the NBA. But even at his reduced extension salary, would be hard to justify dedicating that much salary to be Zu (and Serge’s?) backup if there were a deal to be made.

I remember last year when PavBev was injured again, I thought they really could use a guy like Bled. Defensive minded guard to fill in the PatBev. Really not sure he’s worth giving up guys like PatBev or Luke for though. The only reason maybe you’d consider PatBev is if you’re worried if he can stay healthy.

I thought there would be a bigger age gap between the two since I still think of Bled as like 25 years old, but really only a year difference. Still think I’d rather keep the guys they got.

Rondo + S&T Patpat (7M + non guaranteed years)? Does that get them off of a year of Bledsoe’s salary?

I’d go for DeRozan. His game elevated as being a playmaker. I think the Spurs would help us with a S&T and not help the Lakers instead. The Clipper have a better team than the Lakers. Bron showing his age, finally.

I’d take Payton or Teague on a minimum over yogi I think ?
I think there both better overall players, maybe yogi better shooter?
MConnell would be a home run, like alotta people here been wanting him to be a clipper for a long time.

Patty mills surely would make me the happiest imo he imo would also fit best with our team.
