I’m fine with Mann getting the backup minutes too, would be really interesting to see if his approach is any different now, or if he’s more confident.

Pat has been there up until now, so I wouldn’t worry about chemistry too much. Sheer execution and in-game synchronization is a bit of a fear though.

Been like this it seems all season and felt exactly the same way when Trez left for family reasons. With the ka-billion different lineups we e used all year it’s prolly not gonna matter much. Also , even if everyone was available and healthy for these scrimmages, I bet many players would of been rested regardless. Doc I believe, has already come out and hinted that even in the seeding games that “they’re gonna smart”
Any chemistry issues in the playoffs or if we somehow disappoint will lead to a thread here about how all season and in the bubble the clippers needed to find and maintain a chemistry!
It is what it is , family comes first always and wish pat and trez’s family thoughts and prayers.
We’ve just gone forever without basketball and this season has been the biggest tease to us knowing what we got but not being able to fully enjoy the damage this team can bring when healthy and locked in.
Atleast we are on the brink (8days away) from seeing the seeding games go down that actually mean something and get to debate who we want and don’t want to see in our playoff bracket!

ugh, not off to a great start, at least if you believe building back the team chemistry is important during this mini-training camp/warm up games. I hope nothing serious and they’ll be back before the play in games, or at least the playoffs.

I agree, just play Mann and Coffey a ton and let them get minutes/reps. We need to win some seeding games to maintain seeding but ultimately as long as we don’t slide all the way to 4 it isn’t a big deal. Play for the playoffs.

Goddamn it feels like the Clips have been snakebitten recently regarding absences/emergencies, and I hope everything is alright w/ Bev’s family.

At this point, rather than giving any major rotation pieces heavy minutes, I think I’d rather get an extended look at Mann at backup PG – obviously I’d hope we don’t need him for important minutes in the playoffs, but that’s exactly why the team might as well play him extensive minutes in these scrimmages to see what he can do.
