Damn near legendary. But this was the single worst officiated game I’ve ever seen since the 2002 WCF between Sacramento and the Lakers. The refereeing from the 2nd quarter to the 4th quarter was unrelentingly bad and one-sided. Clippers literally would’ve won this game if the officials played it straight. The failure to call an obvious take foul on Devin Booker on a Russ drive was basically the difference in the game to put the Clips just 1 possession out of reach of a tie/win. It’s a damn shame but the refereeing has regressed to the early 00s, which was the worst era of officiating in NBA history.

Im really hoping they’re just giving Kawhi some rest to come back later in the series. wishful thinking I know. But why would Kawhi play in the second game if he knew he injured it in the first game?
Clips can win, but everything has to be perfect. this sucks. The team has a lot of talent even without their top two, so I’ll still be watching. but the clips need to play with confidence. hopefully it’s a good game.
