Kawhi always walks like some old dude. However, if the limp is real, then even more reason to shut him down for six months. Give that old body a rest!

I agree with much of this, but did he really leave money on the table in not signing with Toronto? I always had the sense that he wanted to control his own destiny, which meant choosing where he wanted to play instead of staying where he was traded by choice of the Spurs.

100% agree. Clips can make playoffs w/o KW and Harden leading the way. KW has proven he can get through 30-35 games in a row at elite level. Don’t push it with him. Save him until the very end.

Yeah, crazy that’s like 5 or 6 years ago. that was fun season.
Shai to Shamet for the win is till one of our clutchest shot/assist in recent memory.
I know we hope that we kept everyone in that summer and just add Kawhi into that group. Well, that ship has sailed. We try our best. Life goes on.
The projected starting line-up for our SL team of Cam-Miller-Flowers-Brown-Moose is quite interesting.
In theory. they should have shooting, athleticism, size and savvy to hang with anyone.
If let’s say 2 of these guys can become rotational players for us, that’s win for me.
Let’s see how it goes.

What got me down about this was the report that said Kawhi showed up in Vegas with a “slight limp.” Very concerning after, presumably, 3 mos. rest and rehab.

I wouldn’t say he didn’t have locker room issues. He ghosted his teammates and coach in SA. He didn’t want to play in Pop’s system, and he doesn’t want to play in a system offense with Lue. A good thing about PG is now Kawhi can have more of the ISOs he wants.
