Gordon’s baseline 360 one handed was the best dunk. Jr’s MJ replica from the FT line but was clearly a huge foot o er the line was weak imo

I’m so happy that Kawhi won the 1st Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP Award. He deserves that.
Kobe really mentored him and really loved his game. Kawhi would even go to the Mamba academy to help with the kids. All love.

The dunk contest is becoming kind of a joke at this point. Not only the goofy scoring but all the theatrics and props etc. With today’s technology I would think there should be a way to calculate the athletics of each dunk, like how high and far they jump, speed, velocity etc all in relation to one’s individual size so that a 5’6″ guy could compete with a 7″ guy in composite athletic scoring. Have this data count for half the score like 1-5 and then they could have human judges give a style points score that’s also 1-5. It would cut out the BS and put an end to all these stupid 50 scores.

Gordon had the best dunk of the night, I thought the same thing in 2016. Problem is that once a 50 is given out, everything is a 50. If things were being graded as strictly as like an Olympic competition, Gordon would’ve won.

My problem with the dunk contest has always been the dunks have literally been graded on a scale from 7 to 10. I could throw up a layup and probably score 35.

In my mind, Gordon is on the dunk contest Mt. Rushmore, and he’s never even won one. He’s had probably 2 of my top 10 dunk contest dunks of all time.
