I do feel like Philly was one of the worst landing spots for PG. They are going to have like sky high expectations, and some of the most rabid fanbases.

MAYBE at least they’re used to paying a guy max money to be Tobias Harris, so maybe that softens the blow. If the benchmark is to be better than Tobias Harris, then I GUESS PG landed in a decent spot. Just feels like they’re going to ask a lot more of him than “be better than Tobias” and not sure it’s that big of a gap.

I feel like he’s going to have to cancel the podcast before the 1st year is up.

So…I disagree with the assessment that he has Allstar caliber potential. He put up good numbers on some bad teams, but aot of guys who aren’t bad teammates and domestic abusers can do that. I hope he’s working on himself as a person, and I get it’s a minimum deal, but this feels like an unnecessary signing from a bball perspective, and gross from a moral/personal one.

I guess this is what I meant when I sed it was time for the FO to get some hits and score runs—at least I hope so. Agree he’s done some bad things — let’s just hope he’s evolved a bit and learned from his mistakes. We’re hamstrung in a lot of ways–and this is almost like recruiting inmates for combat. I’m more interested in how his teammates will view this—privately.
