Another homecoming – UCLA alum

While I’m thrilled with the return we got for him it makes me happy being an old Blazers fan to see that they got a nice player back in what many have called a fleecing on our part. Blazers might not be finished making runs yet if Shaedon pans out too.

Hope Keon keeps it rolling and glad we have both BJJ and Coffey still for the youth movement.

Let’s’ go Moussa!

And I’d sign a high-floor vet min depth C rather than gamble in training camp. Nobody is saying depth doesn’t matter, just that the Clippers’ is excessive and redundant.

Even if someone breaks their leg in training camp (always possible, but flukey), Amir won’t be playing on opening night, and Brandon Boston definitely won’t be. If two guys get season-ending injuries in training camp, we’ll be lucky that we didn’t make a consolidation trade, but building your team-building strategy around that feels more paranoid than prudent.

Not even in a game but a practice. Just goes to show that the word “healthy” should never be used to describe an NBA team, ever. Better to use the phrase “as yet uninjured.” Maybe. So I’m just telling the consolidation trade crowd here that our depth rn is very valuable. Very.

If Moussa can adequately perform given the circumstances (I know, “it’s just SL”), then clipper fandom will light up. I think we’re all hoping he pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

He was terrible–forcing everything and making nothing. Almost as if he was there under protest to show that SL was a mockery. Or, maybe, just maybe, he thereafter had something to prove.
But on the flip side, the guys in SL are not bad b ball players. In fact, they are handpicked for their potential to be productive NBA players and have a track record of accomplishment in college and pro. So, IMO, SL guys who show out should not just be poo poo’d based on “It’s SL,” but credit should be given and possibly, somnolent eyes will be opened.
