The officials did their best to help us win game 2 and George Paul couldn’t seal the deal at the line. Just like he couldn’t tie the score at the line to make it 71 each, and just like he bricked those crucial free throws late. The officials even helped the Clippers by calling a foul to send Boogie to the line-which by the way, what the fuck was that?! If we needed PG to make both, why would they have Boogie miss the second one?Anyway, the difference in this series has been PG at the free throw line.

But I really am hesitant if Mann and more importantly, Reggie, takes the leaps they have after the trade.

Prior to Kawhi’s injury, PG was taking the lead of running the 2nd unit offense. You could argue Luke was better suited for the role on the team that Lou was playing.

Yes now that Kawhi is injured, you probably need a guy like Lou more than Luke, but obviously can’t judge a trade based on losing your best player to injury.

I am all for trying to figure out how to get ‘Nard involved though, especially if the others’ legs are still too gassed to make shots. The team needs to commit to him and get him the ball though. Sometimes when he’s out there, it doesn’t seem like they are ever working plays for him.

He’s had a Hall of Fame career including his years with the Clippers, but all those untimely injuries and those moments of choking.
