I think Lou, Fi, and Oturu technically works, but I don’t know what it means with a 3 for 1 and signing replacement players under the hard cap.

Might need to do Lou, Fi, and Mann to have enough under the hard cap. As good as Mann has been, I think you still keep Zu over Mann.

But yea, Toronto is looking up as of late, and reports are keeping Lowry too, so I don’t think they blow this team up.

Not really a guard, but a solid “Batum” type of wing who seems like would fit in a ball movement style offense.

What would it take to get Norman Powell from Toronto?

Probably more than we’d be comfortable with. It’d probably have to involve Lou, Zu, and Fi to make the salaries match. Something like Lou + Zu + Fi for Powell + Bembry + Stanley Johnson works….I mean, I wouldn’t do that, but it’d work salary-wise.

The dude clearly does not want to play anymore, he could of gotten a chip with the lakers last year and told them no. On top of that he’s prolly not in shape or even has any game left . The dude been out the league for a good minute already.

But on the other hand I almost think Morris Zu and others should have more of the minutes now to make sure our playoff rotation has “Good-chemistry” I think the latter is more important but indeed it is a double edge sword . Hopefully ty doesn’t wait to long to start getting our playoff guys a majority of minutes to solidify the teams game.
With injuries , and the whole “we only care about the regular season crap” I’m over it. That cocky wait and see approach hasn’t worked.
Regular season does matter imo especially in the west.
Even though we fumbled in the playoffs, Dallas and Denver were tough matchups for us trying to make a finals run. Seeding can change on the last season game obviously but the lakers had alotta breaks come there way and getting the 1 seed had “a lot” to do with it.
They had injured McCollum-nurk along with portland tired as hell from there play in tourney and must wins in the bubble to get in the play in,
Rnd2 had a undersized somewhat injured rockets team, and then got Denver for the WCF
Who literally went through double rounds of 7 game series against Utah and us.
Then in the finals got Miami who I’m sure was tired a bit and banged up as well , there road to the FINALS wasn’t exactly a cakewalk.
We’re gonna have to beat alotta good teams but I’m hoping we come out swinging with everything for the rest of the season and try atleast to get that 1seed from Utah . Hopefully the break and other things effect Utah a bit giving us that chance. I don’t know if I see them playing as well as they have the rest of the season, just a gut feeling🙏🏻

Great point about Spurs , I agree but derozan Aldridge gay and possibly mills will leave for nothing this offseason and they really need to find more minutes for Lonnie walker keldon Johnson and vessel, along with whatever prospects they take in next years draft. But the Spurs are the classic compete at all costs let players expire without getting much return type of team. However derozan is the left over asset they have left from the kawhi trade so I almost have to imagine they will fire sale atleast a vet or two.
Obviously these players could just resign with Spurs as well but I think that would be stupid for Spurs management to do so who knows

Especially at like the guard spot if you’re looking at someone to slow down Kyrie/Harden in a (looking way too far ahead) potential Finals matchup. I wish there was a way to get Bledsoe, but his salary is just way too much for anything the Clips would give up.

What would it take to get Norman Powell from Toronto?

I would think that is a more than fair offer for Zu, but the Kings are weird.

My other thought is what is Darren Collison up to? If Lou is traded, Collison if still in decent shape, might be a good guard to grab. Even if Lou isn’t traded, Collison could offer some depth/competition to Reggie and Lou for minutes.
