There’s merit to pretty much all the points everyone is making here but my concerns are much more abstract. After making the WCF and all the heroic contributions by several guys one would expect them to be able to close out teams like even a very good young Memphis or surprising Cleveland team/s. We still seem to fall apart under pressure and guys start bricking from everywhere. Luke and Reggie are still streaky, Terrence still doesn’t have any real go-to moves and pandemic P has not totally been exorcised. I don’t expect to beat Portland outright but if we aren’t able to bounce back with some real firepower win or lose it will be pretty disheartening. Let’s hope it’s a war.

It sucks cuz the warriors & Cavs matchups have made the Clips go away from what they wanna do.. 2 very distinct teams.. 1 cuz of Steph, & the other, cuz of a lineup with 3 agile 7 footers!

As I mentioned in the recap thread, the team needs a healthy Sr & Serge.. The team will still have its flaws, every team does, but they’d atleast put out some competent lineups that opposing teams need to defend

Also, would like to see more Hartenstein, especially while Serge is out! He needs to do a better job of not picking up silly touch fouls though cuz he’s been very impressive on both ends.. Communication is better with him out there & his energy is great.. 2 things you can’t say about the other guy

The language above is specific to Justise – he’s (justifiably) being compared to some bad shooters and bad offensive players.

Whereas your quote from the conclusion section appears to be referring to the “Clippers’ play” as a whole (i.e. not specifically just shooting, and not specifically Justise’s shooting).

TLDR; it’s still ok to point out Justise can’t shoot, and the article doesn’t suggest otherwise.

I’m not sure the lineups are as important as shot distribution amd roles Reggie has shot us out a few games when he iso and has been unable to finish his drives. Bledsoe is fine attacking. but his skill set overlaps Mann. However I like Reggie more as a three point shooter and shooting guard than point guard.

I like two attacking guards with a big and two shooters.

I think kennard should run floppy and do more of a jj reddick role coming off screens while Mann or Bledsoe penetrate.
