Is really hard. A distraction by coming back to work does work a bit but NOTHING
really helps the grieving EVER when we lose a special person except SUPPORT and
Eventually TIME and Growth.
I will say this, one of the best things Trez can do (or anybody when they lose someone close) is to ask themselves the question what would the person who passed away want me to do in the circumstance that they pass away. ?
I will tell you, probably his grandmother would want him to realize That she’s not “GONE” but rather in a BETTER PLACE.
To celebrate her death by memories of her life(which is impossible to do sometimes, but in time it makes you feel better to to tell stories and talk about your loved one who’s passed.
She probably would want him to remain STRONG for himself and for all the other connected family members, they’re gonna need strength support and grieving time also.
Also she would want Trez to be happy and to keep following his goals/dreams/aspirations to the fullest and part of that would be to get back on the court at some point and chase that championship in her memory.
Whatever Trez decides is his decision , he’s earned respect from being a throw in in the cp3 trade to a household name in LA!
I will say this, if and when he comes back
There’s a chance that mentally it might take a little bit to get back into it, also there’s a chance that he comes back super angry and plays with even more energy. Everybody’s different , but for me personally I was shocked and deeply saddened after losing a loved one.
The second stage of my grieving process was anger/rage. Trez like everyone else has to have his own experience.
We ALL love you Trez! We’ll all be fine until you come back, take your time , take care of you and your fam, and we’ll be rooting for you from our couches when you get back! One love boy!
