I get where you’re coming from, but don’t sweat it. Unlike the Lob City days, I don’t think any of the current core are gonna let the hype get into their heads, and really who gives af about what the media says – Stephen A. Smith, Colin Cowherd, and Jason Whitlock don’t deserve an ounce of concern/attention from anyone who actually watches basketball.

Also, objectively speaking AD/Lebron have definitely had a better season overall than Kawhi/PG13, but Kawhi/PG13 have barely played together, and I think the difference between those duos isn’t as large as the difference between KCP/Danny Green/McGee and Bev/MM/Zu (really hoping MM and Zu join the team soon…).

Nice read. Clippers do not have Lou Williams problem, Clippers have Lou Williams and it’s a good thing. Others may have similar assets and even better, but so do Clippers. No problem at all, Lou will see some end games from the bench and be fine with it. I believe he will prevail in some other games for the Clippers with his craftiness, on the other side.
The best roster in Clippers history this is and the best title chance so far. I believe there’s no better player out there to lead them than Kawhi Leonard and he made sure to land in a good situation with enough firepower. Clippers are ready for this uncharted territory ahead.

Am I the only one getting nervous with all these media people picking the Clips over the Lakers? I feel like I’d prefer if the Clips were the underdogs. And to be honest, I know i’ll get killed her, but I really do feel like Lebron and AD are probably the better duo, had a better regular season, and should be the favorite (slightly) in a playoff series.

I don’t know, must be the Clipper fan in me, but I’m just more comfortable being the underdog.

Yeah, that most recent Laker’s game. What stands out for me about that was how AB stripped Bev so easily a couple times. Really altered the game. Got to be required viewing for Bev even tho AB now out. Bev mite just be targeted by their other guards.

Agree on all counts Lucas. Lebron is not the yardstick against which all players should measured. And in a 48 minute game against the Lakers Lou provides plenty of utility. I’m not worried.
