Really hated seeing Luka injured, I’m a huge fan. But injuries are part of the game, as the Clippers know all too well, to our sorrow, so no sympathy. Would like them to come out firing on Sunday and demoralize the Mavs, then step on their necks and put them out of their misery in game five. Kristaps seems to be such a whiner. He’d have fit right in on the Lob City team. And Kawhi is legendary. And PG needs to get out of his head and be his usual great self. I’m confident he will.

Yeah, I think it’s just psychology: a 2-1 deficit inspires urgency to tie the series and make it a toss-up in a best-of-3, while a 3-1 deficit looks like an impossible task (of course it isn’t, but there’s something about going LWL and saying “we need, and can win, this next game!” compared to going LWLL and having to rally). It can be hard to inspire belief down 3-1, especially if you are shorthanded and/or otherwise demoralized.

Obviously I want Luka to be okay but I am skeptical that he’ll be at full strength given how he looked tonight.

I think you can pretty much mark that down with Luka’s injury. I believe Sunday will be the tougher of the two closeout games but we will get it done. Kawhi will slam the door on Tuesday. Kawhi is so brilliant. Earlier this year many of us noticed how he utilized Zu as his Tim Duncan and this shrewdness was on display again tonight when he utilized Landry like Patti Mills. We all may end up owing Pop a tremendous debt of gratitude if we win it all.

Well, Doc knew he had to do something and he did something and it worked. So, kudos to him. The Clippers were clearly the better team when they were focused and Kawhi was doing his Superman thing even with Luka on the floor.

Kawhi Anthony Leonard is amazing. Tonight was a jordan-like masterpiece.

Happy with Doc’s adjustments and the way the fellas came out tonight. We still haven’t hit our stride, yet, with both Trez and Lou still rounding into shape and whatever the hell is up with PG. Luckily, we got Playoff Sham tonight.

I hope we crush the Mavs on Sunday and cruise on Tuesday into the 2nd round. Go Clips!
