Well deserved contract. I think he is still working on his game and he will show further improvement. Particularly regarding decision making and defense.

Completely agree ! You have to prove your worth in this league, nobody handing out money free especially when batum handed out money for free by signing the minimum. It would be a slap in batum s face if they made him take the min just to give it to winslow.
Hopefully mle is still intact and we plan on using it on a buyout guy or the youngsters!!

I like the gamble too. Hopefully he can return healthy. It’s not like he’s old so hoping to a return to his 22 year old self from 2019 is probably not out of the question. It’s just how much the injuries since then has effected him.

I almost view it similar to Oladipo. If you can get the healthy version of them, the ceiling is super high. I think worth a gamble.

It’s not like it is a gamble on a starter. He can be a 9th-10th man at best so not bad. Similar things were told about Batum last year and not many believed he could be this good. Will see. It’s low risk, high reward.
