Dude is just special and total agro mode. Sanders has that edge too but not as athletic. L Frank making up for the SGA disaster. It was unfathomable to me that we could transition out of 213 but its looking good right now. Enjoy the ride.

I love how our 2 rookies operate, they do what they are supposed to do => Be a big as Yanic and be a guard like Sanders.
And we’re lucky to have DJJ.
I’m proud of all our guys putting their effort on the floor.
Can’t wait for Kawhi, Colling & DG to comeback.
Fasten your seatbelt, it’s gonna be a wild ride.

I’ve complained a lot about the way the game is played in recent years, but I have to say this is the best basketball I’ve ever seen in my life right now. Theres just never been this much talent. And unlike the bro era of LeBron and Steph and all the collective bargaining buddies, these guys have inherited that bounty so are only focused on the competition and hate each other and it’s awesome. Can’t wait for the playoffs.

While Miller scored efficiently, he had the opportunity to stretch the floor by stepping into 3s but didn’t do so. He pushed every possession into the mid range area when it was packed in and didn’t spray it to the 3pt line except maybe once. That caused a number of possessions to end with suboptimal shots. Sanders did a very good job seizing the moment, probing the floor, making god decisions and stretching the defense, but he didn’t have the ball in his hands as much as Miller.

When Miller is on the floor with Mathurin, he needs to stretch that floor by shooting the 3. Mathurin is the guy who needs to drive into the lane with space cleared for him by Miller drawing a defender to the 3 pt line. That can only happen if Miller attempts 3s and makes them at a credible percentage.

LAC was essentially down 4 starters (including Beal). So losing to a healthy playoff team is not really concerning.

Looking at it another way … if an understaffed LAC beat Minny, we would have been shouting “Amazing!”.

And yea, this version of the Clips hanging with (I’d argue they actually outplayed them, but eh) the full strength TWolves should be extremely concerning for the TWolves.

Math was just plain bad. Very stubborn player. Challenges Rudy at the rim? Come on man. No interior passing gene, Math? Get one. 6 TOs? Wow. Pass it to him and good luck getting it back — unless it’s Kawhi of course.

I didn’t really see much positive on the offensive side–was hard for guys to get any good looks at all. But on D, they were kinda feisty and could hang with the full strength wolves — who are good, many even very good — but not elite.
Agree that Jordan and Sanders should have closed and that Jordan needs to take some 3s — do it already–reminds me of the reluctant to shoot Luke Kennard. And fully agree that YKN does not need to constantly blow dunks–rookie showboarting? Again, Come on man.
I know we were short on guys, but Ty’s rotations sucked

Can some explain to me how Miller and Sanders were the only efficient scorers, yet had the worst +/- in the game?

Ty Lue should’ve closed with Sanders over Batum.

I really hope he starts letting it fly, especially on nights like tonight where nobody else can hit a shot.
