He’s not like Bam, AD, or Giannis in terms of switch-ability on the perimeter, but he’s a helluva lot more spry than any of Theis, Plumlee, or Zu out there. He kind of reminds me of a (not as good) young Al Horford. If Orlando is willing to deal him he’d be near the top of my wishlist.

Russ giveth and taketh.

Coach has to squeeze all the goodness out of every player, including the old All Stars.

Reinventing the best out of KL, PG, Russ and now Harden.

Coach Lue has an opportunity to help us make history.

Russ will figure it out.

We are way ahead of schedule. Got to keep improving game to game.

Kind of feel like that Clippers locker room is full of vets and willing to put the egos aside for the team.

He eats what Shai cooks. We played on the 2nd night of a back to back after a draining game w/Dallas and no Kawhi. Not really worried about his offense. It’s more about protecting the defensive glass and putting the clamps on Jalen Williams while also making Shai work a bit. Offensively, I expect the Big 3 to perform a lot better, especially with no true big in the middle for OKC.

No disrespect to Jalen Williams, but I think we have more guys who we can throw on him in Kawhi, PG13, Mann, and Coffey. We have no answers for Chet. Hopefully Ty’s got something cooked up for Chet tomorrow because he eviscerated us the last time we played them.

Lakers put a lot of length on OKC

Unfortunately that’s the one area we are sorely lacking in. Honestly as weird as it sounds, I’m less worried about matching up against SGA than I am against Chet. Even if Zu returns, feels like Chet is going to wreck our defense unless we can get him in foul trouble like the Lakers did…

Lakers do the Clippers a solid and beat OKC. Shai looks like he’s not 100%. He was a game time decision. Not sure he plays tomorrow vs LAC. Regardless, the coaching staff should look at the film here. Lakers put a lot of length on OKC and basically played a quasi zone, triangle and 2 defense against OKC in half court sets and it was very effective. Only guy who could really dribble was Shai. We won’t have Zu, but we do have 2 bigs and better forwards than do the Lakers, with good perimeter defense as well (when focused).

Clips’ stars are likely going to have a bounce back performance after a disappointing loss at Minnesota. Decent chance for a win against an important conference rival.
